In addition to its year-round house tours, exhibits, beautiful grounds, Colonial Revival gardens, and other things to do, Historic Sotterley hosts many unique events and programs throughout the year.

Enjoy guest speakers sharing their expertise.  Past topics have included: conspiracy to steal America’s national treasures, the trans-Atlantic slave trade, slavery at Monticello, John Wilkes Booth and the Lincoln conspiracies.

Plant Sale & Free Plant Exchange at Historic Sotterley PlantationPlant Sale & Free Plant Exchange
All proceeds will support the upkeep of Sotterley’s gardens and grounds. The Free Plant Exchange gives gardeners the opportunity to bring their plants and exchange for other annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables, shrubs, trees, bulbs and seeds!
