A Toast to Christmas Past    Santa's Table    Home for the Holidays

Guests for Santa's Table are asked to arrive promptly for your seating time and to proceed directly to the Warehouse to Check In.

All events take place RAIN or SHINE! Visitors are encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather and to wear foot gear suitable for the conditions.

$65 per person
Reservations are limited and tickets must be purchased in advance.
Reservations are non-refundable.
All guest must be 21 or older and bring a valid ID for entry to the event.

Join us for a festive holiday event in Sotterley's Plantation House featuring live music of the season, a 19th century scene with the lady of the house, and delightful hors d'oeuvres, wine, and mulled cider for your enjoyment. Wander through the Mansion where each soaring space is decorated to evoke memories and images of Sotterley families through the generations. You'll experience one room dressed in refined greenery for a colonial Christmas, another room celebrates an early Victorian holiday and the Dining Room is a classic nod to a 1950's Christmas.

The cost includes meal AND general admission for the day's activities for  Home for the Holidays.

We do not sell reservations at the door as seating is limited.

Breakfast includes: scrambled eggs, sausage, sausage gravy, tater tots, biscuits, French toast sticks, juice, milk, tea and coffee.

Lunch includes: chicken nuggets, hot dogs, macaroni & cheese, applesauce, juice, milk, tea and coffee.

Visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus and enjoy a reading of Twas the Night Before Christmas by a very special holiday guest. We invite you to make this classic Christmas event part of your family tradition!

From our home to yours! Our Sotterley Museum Shop will be stuffed with the perfect presents for your loved ones and our Plantation House will be richly decorated for the holiday season!

Also take the opportunity to enjoy the rest of the day's festivities such as:
- live demonstrations
- holiday scavenger hunt
- singing along with carolers
- family friendly tours of the decorated Plantation House
- strolling through our kid-friendly Colonial Gardens, decorated with colorful Nutcrackers
- purchasing seasonal greens and hand-crafted items from Sotterley's Garden Guild
- shopping for unique holiday gifts in the Sotterley Museum Shop
   (where the children can buy presents at Santa's Secret Shop)
- shopping craft vendors
